Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your ProFlight Rentals account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains what data we collect, how to submit a deletion request, what gets removed, and what may be retained by third parties.

How to Request Deletion

To request deletion of your account, send an email to techops@proflightrentals.com from the email address associated with your account. Please include the phone number on file so we can locate your account.

We will process your request within 30 days of receipt and send a confirmation email once deletion is complete.

What Data We Collect

ProFlight Rentals collects a limited set of personal data needed to operate the rental platform:

  • Phone number — used for account creation and login via SMS one-time passcode (OTP).
  • Name and email address — used for receipts, support, and account communications.
  • Payment information — collected and processed by Stripe, our payment processor. Card numbers and bank details are never stored on ProFlight servers. We retain only a Stripe customer reference and the transaction history needed to display your receipts.
  • Bluetooth and location data — used while the app is open to scan for nearby smart lockers, verify proximity, and unlock the correct locker. This data is used in real time during a rental session and is not retained as a long-term location history.
  • Rental history — records of which equipment you rented, when, and at which locker, used for receipts and customer support.

What Gets Deleted

When we process your deletion request, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:

  • Your account profile (name, email, account identifier)
  • Your phone number and any SMS verification records
  • Your rental history
  • Any stored preferences or app settings tied to your account
  • Your Stripe customer reference held on ProFlight servers

What May Be Retained

Some records are retained after account deletion because they are required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes, or because they are held by a third party we cannot delete on your behalf:

  • Stripe payment records — payment transactions processed through Stripe are subject to Stripe's data retention policies and applicable financial regulations. ProFlight cannot delete these records on Stripe's behalf. You may contact Stripe directly to inquire about their retention terms.
  • Anonymized transaction summaries — aggregate, non-identifying records of rentals that we are required to keep for tax and accounting purposes. These records contain no personal identifiers after deletion.
  • Support correspondence — emails you have sent to support may be retained in our support system in accordance with our retention schedule, with personal identifiers removed where reasonably practicable.

After Deletion

Once your account is deleted, you will no longer be able to log in with the associated phone number. If you wish to use ProFlight Rentals again in the future, you will need to create a new account.
