ProFlight Rentals ("we," "our," or "us") operates a sports equipment rental platform available via our mobile application. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our services.

  • Email address — for account communications, receipts, and support
  • Phone number — for account verification via SMS one-time passcodes (OTP)

  • Create and manage your ProFlight Rentals account
  • Process equipment rental transactions
  • Send SMS messages containing one-time verification codes for account authentication
  • Communicate with you about your rentals, receipts, and account activity

3. SMS/Text Messaging

By providing your phone number and creating an account, you consent to receive SMS text messages from ProFlight Rentals. These messages are used for:

  • One-time passcodes (OTP) for account verification and login authentication
  • Rental receipts — a brief notification sent after you return rented equipment, containing the total charge and a link to view your full receipt

Message frequency varies based on your account activity (e.g., each time you log in, verify your identity, or complete a rental return). Message and data rates may apply. SMS messages are sent via our third-party provider, Twilio. No marketing or promotional messages are sent.

Opt-Out

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS messages from ProFlight Rentals. Please note that opting out of SMS may affect your ability to log in, as we use SMS-based verification for authentication.

4. Data Sharing and Selling

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information — including your phone number — to third parties for marketing or any other purpose.

We may share your information only with service providers who assist us in operating our platform (such as Twilio for SMS delivery), and only to the extent necessary for them to perform their services. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure.

6. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us at support@proflightrentals.com. We will process your request within 30 days and permanently delete your personal information from our systems, unless we are required to retain it by law.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, please contact us so we can promptly delete it.
